Dwain Esmond
Pastor Esmond is a respected author, editor, and ordained minister within the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He currently serves as Associate Director and Editor of the Ellen G. White Estate, where he oversees the preparation and publication of Ellen White–related content and contributes to strategic planning for the global church.
Born in Guyana, Pastor Esmond immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of ten, settling in New Jersey. He has dedicated decades of service to Adventist media, leadership, and spiritual formation. From 2002 to 2013, he served as the first African American Editor of Insight Magazine, a publication for youth and young adults. He later served as Vice President of Editorial Services at the Review and Herald Publishing Association from 2010 to 2014.
Pastor Esmond is married to Kemba M. Esmond, and together they have one son, Dwain Jr. Beyond his professional ministry, he has a deep passion for mentoring young people. A former avid intramural basketball player, a significant Achilles injury became a turning point that redirected his focus toward health, healing, and spiritual restoration.

Douglas F. Morgan
Douglas Morgan is an educator and author who currently serves as an adjunct instructor of church history for Andrews University Global Campus. His most recent book, Change Agents: The Lay Movement That Challenged the System and Turned Adventism Toward Racial Justice, was published by Oak & Acorn in 2020.
Douglas graduated from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, with a B.A. in theology in 1978. He earned a PhD in the history of Christianity, with emphasis in American religious and social movements, at the University of Chicago in 1992.
He taught history for twenty-five years at Washington Adventist University in Maryland (1994-2019) and for two years at Southern Adventist University (1989-1991).
Both he and his wife, Barbara Williams, are members of the Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church in New York City. They currently reside in Brooklyn, New York.
